The Sea Glass - What They're Saying

Want to get lost in a book? Get The Sea Glass!

I absolutely fell in love with this book! This intricately written, beautiful love story is one you will not be able to put down. It was effortless to immerse oneself into it completely through the brilliant imaginative writing. The Sea Glass draws you in captivatingly, chapter to chapter until you are left wishing this book would have never ended. I have just started Malibu Hobo and love the characters from The Sea Glass that have made an appearance. Nick has a way in his writing style that magically transports you into each page, connecting you with each character and feeling it all with wonderful humour, excellent music references, and a descriptiveness that leaves you feeling the breeze and tasting the wine. He's not too bad either at interjecting the sexualness throughout, in various connotations and some rather hot and steamy love scenes. Highly Recommend!!

Brett Easton Ellis, but with a story.

Enjoyable romp (literally) over a 30 year time span. Beautiful rich kids we all resent but secretly wish we were. A slightly toooo perfect hero but we can dream. All wrapped up in an 80s soundtrack. Maybe you have to be a certain age, but storytelling is storytelling, and Mr. Robson does it pretty good.

Story for a movie!

A must read! Would make a wonderful movie. Fabulous love story set in a beautiful landscape constantly reminding us of the music from the 80s. A great read- highly recommended. Addictive story that’s hard to put down!

Great Summer or Vacation Read

Wish I could have reviewed this book sooner but I purchased it from Amazon UK when it was first available and I am thrilled to be able to do so now! Beautiful love story that takes place in a truly gorgeous setting on the East Coast of Florida, USA. I love to read a book and feel like I am there along for the adventure. The town is just as described; beautiful weather, beaches, restaurants and sunsets. With the colder months approaching I am longing for another story that will make me envision myself on the beach, my feet in the warm sand and loving love.

Could there be a sequel in the future? Let’s wait and see.

Romantic Sexy Read

A fantastic romantic read. Loved all the characters, could relate to story having lived in the United States and the music was of my generation which made the book even more interesting. Didn’t like the book, I loved it.

Superb

There is no doubt that Nick is a gifted writer and his grasp of the English language is truly exceptional, i would heartily recommend this book to anyone drawn to creative literary works.

Beautiful book - read it in just over 2 days

Nick has written a book about places he obviously knows so well in the States. The people are talented and rich, but don't necessarily have happy lives, although very interesting ones. The references to music are wonderful, obviously something Nick knows a lot about. Not sure about the references to "Shades of Grey" although a bit risqué in parts!!!! I read this book on a beach in Greece and was completely enthralled in. Sad when it finished!!!!!

Love’s labours found!

True romance beautifully wrapped in a lyrical, complicated bow; highly recommended for readers who love a slow-burner peppered with passion, missed chances, humor, and mystery. Great storytelling!

I recommend this book to you x

I was totally engrossed in this story.... at the beginning I was uncomfortable and anxious of where it was going (especially with the 'Shades of Grey' reference in the book description, and having a teenage daughter myself, and being personally involved in the 'me too' movement). But the story that unfolded was surprising, and beautiful and real and I truly couldn't put it down. I recommend this book to you x

I've recommended it to all my literary friends

I found this book so interesting and captivating, I could hardly put it down. I believe I read the 500+ pages in record time. Couldn't wait to learn the outcome of the story at the end. I've recommended it to all my literary friends.
