Born in the East End of London, the son of a policeman and a book-keeper, Nick had a brief career as a singer-songwriter after studying languages at college. In 1979, he began training to be a film editor with a small company in London’s Soho.
He helped grow the company to become the largest privately-owned film & television post-production house in the UK before it was sold in 2001 to a California media company.
After gaining Green Cards for his family in 2003, he retired from the industry and relocated to the USA to watch his daughter grow up and graduate from college in California.
He has written one non-fiction book, Living The American Dream? prior to writing novels.
